Uncertain why i went with this model, it certainly does the job and im not doing anything silly with it. I guess my main reason was it wasn't gigabyte, and i've generally had good experiences with msi. Dunno about value most boards are pretty costly atm, however it had ddr5 support which i wanted so it's future proofed for a considerable time.
