Q: When used as an extractor fan will the leds be visible or is this meant to be used as an intake fan?

This can be used either way but yes the LEDS will be visible if you have a windowed case.

Looks great in my AVP Viper case. Audible but does a good job creating airflow in conjunction with the rear case fan.
