A little bit expensive as it's not an IPS monitor, however compared to my previous monitors I had the contrast ratio is much higher than my old monitors. The blacks are deep blacks as if those individual pixels are not even powered, while the lighter colours are vivid and pop out in both contrast and brightness. I bought this monitor for a true ultra-wide experience rather than having two monitors with a thick bezel next to each other. An added bonus is the integrated USB 3.0 hub, though the monitor doesn't come with a USB 3.0 type A to USB 3.0 type B cable needed to use the hub with your computer. Still, this is an excellent monitor that has blown my expectations away. I have added a picture of my old dual monitor set up to compare how the new monitor looks in relation to my old dual monitor set up. What you do get included though is a European power plug, a UK power plug, HDMI cable (not sure of spec but I would believe to be at least HDMI 1.4) and a DisplayPort cable. I would highly recommend DP over HDMI which most modern GPUs will come with as you'll need a modern GPU to drive every single 3,440 x 1,440 pixels during gaming. The monitor also comes with a software CD, though if you do wish to use the software, I'd recommend just downloading it from AOC's website. Not only do you then get the latest version, but most modern PCs built within the last 5 years are likely not to have an optical drive anyway. One piece of fairly useful software is G-Menu that allows you to change monitor settings in Windows rather than using the monitor's built-in buttons and OSD. One last note, this monitor is VESA mount compatible so if you have a 100mm x 100mm monitor arm bracket, this monitor will fit it perfectly, though it is a little on the heavy side so you may need to tighten your arm bracket more than normal. If you have money to splash and are in need of a new monitor, this is a great monitor to pick up. If you still looking for a new monitor but are on a tighter budget, probably wait until there is a clearance sale.

Very clear monitor, and a good price.

I upgraded to this monitor from a BenQ 144hx 24 inch monitor. The main reason was for improved productivity if a wider screen for work. This has not disappointed, amazing for work flow. This monitor also runs amazingly as a gaming monitor, Warzone at 120 FOV has never looked better.

Excellent monitor for the money. A little bit of backlight bleed which is pretty much unavoidable at this price, but otherwise a good monitor for gaming & productivity. The 100hz is a noticeable improvement on 60hz, the colours are good and I've been able to get a reasonably accurate setup with the standard adjustments.

Obviously the toggle switch in full settings is a bit of a pain Havent had it long the picture seems great the stand is really awesome tilts left to right up and down backwards and forwards and it looks great

Pixels went on it, they replaced it with no hassle

The Monitor works great in most cases however I have found a few issues with some freesync setting where flickering occurred. The buttons for the OSD are also not great, they are a bit spongy and not very tactile.If you go over the 100Hz rating the monitor does suffer from stuttering, limiting games to 100FPS solves that issue. perhaps the CU34G2X is better as it does 144Hz. On a positive note the colors are good, blacks are great and overall it does what it sets out to do. Great for games and productivity. The curve takes some getting used to and not all games support the 3440x1440 resolution nattily.

Awesome bit of kit, looked ages to find the right one and was not disappointed. Great I O superb colour and definition and just all round great looking. CCL were a pleasure to deal with and on the ball as ever. This is how an online transaction should be :-)

Pros: Great quality for the price with good resolution. And I would recommend this monitor. Cons: The description list built in speakers but this is wrong. And the AOC software for configuring your screen occasionally crashes.
