This is a meaty processor. It makes the loading of software much faster than my previous (admittedly old) AMD chip. The boost clock on this is super aggressive too - I've found that limiting it to 95% of its max clock keeps temperatures far more consistent without a noticable drop in performance. No regrets about dropping 315 on this
