Q: Hi, I'm quite new to computers (although I have done lots of research). Hovering over the 10400F model, I saw that it said that "heatsink and fan included". Does this mean that the CPU cooler already comes with it, or do I still need to purchase one separately?

The heatsink and fan comes with this Cpu-this is the cooling, no further purchase of a cooler is necessary

The performance of my computer has taken a huge leap since installing the intel 10400f. Adequate frames when gaming with my old 1050ti and it's smooth without lag or crashes when used as a workstation. The only downfall is that the stock cooling fan is loud even with my soundproofing Fractal design S case.

i was really trying to get an AMD build but the price / performance on this was way better. In an ideal world i would've paired with b560 mobo and maybe paid the 20 to get the unlocked version. but still love this cpu. also install was way easier than i feared!

Great cheap i5 that rivals the Ryzen 5 3600. In gaming performance it beats it about 5% to 10%. It is easy to cool with a cheap 20 cpu cooler from BeQuiet Pure Rock Slim. Max temps while gaming 55c, max temps while benchmarking at 100% cpu usage 65C. Will do you good for your gaming years up to 3 years, Obviously for content creation and productivity go for AMD period.
