Hitman Absolution has not long since launched, to much appraisal from fans old and new. Hitman Absolution is one of the strongest contenders for this years Game of the Year award and while it seems to be doing quite well, the developers have been kind enough to bring us even more.

IO Interactive A/S, a Square Enix studio have announced the Hitman: HD Trilogy will be coming to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 early next year. This gives fans of the old games or even new fans from Hitman Absolution the chance to visit. Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: contracts and Hitman: Blood Money.

"For the very first time experience over forty incredible missions across three classic Hitman Games, all presented in glorious HD. Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to the franchise, this is the opportunity to take on the contracts that defined the series and fully established Agent 47 not only as a pop culture icon, but also as the World’s Ultimate Assassin."

The HD Trilogy is scheduled for release in Europe and the rest of the PAL territories on February 1st and then in North North America on January 29, 2013 for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Personally I can't wait to get my hands on this one, erm three.
