M-ITX is popular right now, there are so many great chassis available on the market that are cool in their own rights, but more importantly there are some seriously powerful components that enable you to build a serious system with a very minimal footprint. AMD's new Trinity APUs are one of these components and at the moment there are few options in terms of motherboards when it comes to the M-ITX form factor. Something that Zotac is addressing head-on with the release of their A-75 based motherboard.
The new A75-ITX WiFi B Series is a mini-ITX motherboard, perfect for small form factor systems and features:
• 1 x PCIe x16
• 1 x PCIe Mini Card (for the WiFi module)
• 2 x DDR3 Slots
• 6 x USB 3.0
• Dual Gigabit LAN
• Bluetooth 4.0
There is no release date at the moment but prices are set for around £90 here in the UK, not exactly cheap but combined with built in Wi-Fi and an APU this could still be a powerful and cost effective solution.
