Developers Valve have made new content available for the first person shooter Team Fortress 2 as it goes into the second day of Pyromania.

The update, entitled City on Fire, provides gamers with new equipment for the scout, soldier and sniper.

Scouts now have the Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol, which gives 15 per cent extra health, no falling damage, 25 per cent slower firing speed and 50 per cent extra fire damage vulnerability. In addition, gamers have access to the Baby's Face Blaster, a scattergun that is 40 per cent more accurate, builds up boost on impact, allows for double run speed at maximum boost at the cost of 30 per cent less damage and 35 per cent lower movement speed.

The sniper has the Cleaner's Carbine, a sub-machine gun that has three seconds of 100 per cent critical strike, sacrificing 20 per cent of the clip size, a 35 per cent slower firing rate and no random critical hits. Meanwhile, the Hitman's Heatmaker is a sniper rifle that provides added focus when a kill or assist is made, which activates when the meter is full, causing 25 per cent increased charge, but body hits do less damage.

Soldiers get a Beggar's Bazooka, a rocket launcher that can fire three projectiles at once, but users must beware that overloading the weapon will cause a misfire and they will not be able to pick up ammo from dispensers.

The pyro is not left out either, he gets the Scorch Shot, a flare gun that knocks its target back and sets fire to any surrounding enemies in a small radius. However, there is a 50 per cent damage penalty.

New hats have been made available for the scout, sniper and soldier as well, with the soldier's also working as a makeshift grenade strap.

A final update for Team Fortress 2's Pryomania three-day extravaganza is set to be released tomorrow.ADNFCR-1220-ID-801395152-ADNFCR
