Razer BlackShark optimised for Battlefield 3

A new headset from Razer should optimise the Battlefield 3 experience.

Gaming hardware manufacturer Razer has announced a new custom headset to its Collector's Edition line-up.

The Razer BlackShark is a headset inspired by those used by tactical aviators and offers complete audio immersion optimised for the aural ferocity of Electronic Arts (EA) and DICE's first-person-shooter Battlefield 3.

With the BlackShark gamers should be able to truly engross themselves in the third Battlefield, which is the fastest-selling game in the history of EA. It is considered to be one of the most forward-thinking and vibrant games available on the market.

Now when you are flying through the vast skies of the game in an attack helicopter you will actually feel as if you are in the midst of matter through the complete circumaural ear cups that provide the most authentic audio experience available.

Through Razer's sound-isolating technology no unwanted sound will filter through from the outside and the detachable boom microphone provides excellent quality for you to clearly shout orders at your teammates.

Despite the bulky build, the comfort provided by the padded headset means you will barely notice it on your head, keeping up maximum comfort for those gaming sessions that extend for many hours.

"The Razer BlackShark is a PC gaming headset with crisp audio and booming bass that is built for a highly intense shooter like Battlefield 3," said Robert Krakoff, president of Razer USA.

"It lets you hear the gunfire, the explosions and the thunderous roar of the jets, as if you were in the heat of the battle. Designed based on headsets sported by real attack helicopter pilots, no serious soldiers on the frontlines of Battlefield 3 should be without their Razer BlackShark."

Razer also recently released the Naga Hex Wraith edition gaming mouse, which is designed to make playing role playing games, particularly Diablo-esque hack and slash titles, much easier. The mouse can register an astonishing 250 clicks a minute, if you click that fast that is.ADNFCR-1220-ID-801376485-ADNFCR
