A stunning new flaw in the latest 4.2 Android software has resulted in the whole month of December disappearing from the embedded contacts app.
The calendar on the “People app” goes from November 2012 right over to January 2013. It affects the sold out Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 tablet.
The flaw was reported by “Android Police” and Stuart Miles, editor of Pocket-Lint said:
"If you're an early adopter you're affected by it, but they will rush out an update very quickly. It's quite a small bug. It's the equivalent of spelling something wrong on the front page of a newspaper - it's embarrassing and frustrating but ultimately it's not going to end the world."
Google have declined to comment but I’m sure there will be an update fairly soon, hopefully before December.
Other calendars such as Google Calendar are unaffected.
