Hot on the heels of the Black Ops II fiasco which saw the 2nd install disc of the popular FPS title accidentally replaced with the install disc for Mass Effect II, whoops doesn't even cover that one.
Although it seems this madness isn't at an end yet as many players of the Xbox 360 edition of the new Lego Lord of the Rings game found the wrong disc in their box also.
Warner Bros has already recalled the title, but that hasn't stopped many copies finding there way into the hands of consumers, who will soon discover the issue when they load up the full retail copy only to discover that the disc is in fact just the demo of the game.
The issue hasn't effected other formats, at least that we know of, only the Xbox 360 edition and it's advised that if you have this issue you should take your copy back to the retailer and nicely ask them to resolve it for you. Warner Bros haven't announced how or when they will resolve the issue but I would expect this one to be rectified pretty quickly, at the end of the day, they want the game in consumers hands asap and will no doubt be dying in both shame and rage, with their suppliers.
