Gearbox are on a roll recently, with the massive success of Borderlands 2 which is currently selling by the bucket load. It's impressive to see a game keep the hype machine running for as long as they did, only to deliver on every promise made to gamers when it came around to release day.
Since the release of Borderlands 2 we've already seen the launch of the fantastic iPad game Borderlands Legends, now it seems that it's the Mac that will be getting love from Gearbox. The game has already sold over 5 million copies and that number will be going up nicely as we approach Christmas, so the developers have a spare few quid to throw at the development team over at Aspyr to port the title to new hardware.
Best part of all for you Mac users is that they've already done it! and you can expect to get your hands on the title around the 20th of November, just in time for Christmas.
The game is said to contain everything you would expect from other editions of the game, including drop-in / drop-out co-op. I don't imaging it will be long before we hear an announcement for a Wii U edition, but no official word from Gearbox just yet on that one.
