It has come to light that the TV show "Apocalypse" by Derren Brown may in fact be a setup. It has been claimed that a Twitter account for the main star of the show could be linked to an acting agency, making many fans suspect that the whole thing was staged with actors.

The idea of the show was that Derren Brown using his usual amazing mind tricks, would convince a man that the world was destroyed after a meteor strike and that zombies had taken over.

A few hours after the show, the armchair investigators of the country sprung into action to try unpick who the stars of the show were, leading many to call the whole thing a big fake because they thought he looked like someone who had been in a noodle advert?! Now call me crazy, but someone being in a noodle advert does not qualify you as an actor for a bit of prime time TV.

Now of course, there are always two sides to every story and Derren was lightening quick to respond on Twitter and a Q&A On his blog.

But that wasn't enough for some people, still claiming that he was an Actor, that it was all fake and more. Anyone who has watched a few of Derrens shows will know he goes to great lengths to make sure something isn't a setup, so for me personally I don't think it was fake. Because if it was, they wouldn't have made such a stupid mistake.
