I hope your ready for this month's game release schedule, now while this list isn't extensive as there are plenty more titles coming out next month, I thought I would bring to your attention what I think will be the big sellers over the course of October and beyond. As you can see it's one hell of a month for great games, with people (some people) saying "consoles are dead / pc gaming is dead / we need next gen hardware" I ask you to re-read the list above. There is still so much fun to be had on current hardware no matter how bad some of us want the latest next gen technology, you can't help but get excited at this list.

Guns of Icarus Online - 29th of OctoberGuns of Icarus Online - 29th of October

The month starts out with the highly anticipated Resident Evil 6, which sees a mixture of the games early story locations with a fistful of high action added to the horror mix, then for fans of the Wii music games we have Just Dance 4 and Wii sing. If you love shouting at your Xbox then you Kinect fans can rejoice with the addition of Harry Potter, Dragon Ball Z and Fable hitting their favourite arm waggling device very soon.

Handheld fans aren't left out of the fun this month either, with an all new Pokemon game on DS, the ever popular Professor Layton and Rollercoaster Tycoon on 3DS and finally the new Assassin's Creed and Street Fighter X Tekken on VITA.

We also have the return of Zone of the Enders, with what I expect to be a glorious HD makeover, Dark Souls is back to punish gamers even more and even Doom 3 returns to try again. But one of the titles I'm most looking forward to this month is Guns of Icarus Online, a fantastic online shooter that really changes the pace of play like no other.

The list just goes on with one great title after another, Forza, Rocksmith, James Bond, XCOM, Dishonoured, all I can say is that its going to take months to get through these titles and that's before you dare sneak a peak at what games are due to be released in November and December! have fun.
