So who is excited about the upcoming launch of the Wii U? I know I'm not... yes that's right, I'm really not that excited or eager to get my hands on one, not at least until I've had a chance to demo the unit, but I am excited about how Nintendo have reinvented doing things differently once again. This is an important time for Nintendo, a big win or fail moment is slowly approaching for them.
Today Nintendo announced the next European edition of Nintendo Direct. The Nintendo Direct Wii U Preview will be streamed from the Nintendo Direct website on 13th September from 3pm (UK time) and sees Nintendo of Europe President Satoru Shibata take a closer look at the upcoming Wii U console.
The Wii U console launches this holiday season and introduces the Wii U GamePad, a controller with a 6.2-inch touch screen that redefines how people interact with their games, their entertainment and one another. But how well it doesn't when it hits the market or of course when it lands in the hands of consumers remains to be seen, but at least for now we may actually get a more in-depth look and the performance of this very interesting bit of technology before the run up to Christmas
