Game developers Milestone have gone full throttle today in the run up to the release of WRC 3, which is due to hit PS3, 360, PC and PS Vita this October.

The Italian developer (Milestone) has given us not one but seven new videos showcasing their upcoming title, which shows off the games completely new graphics and game engine called "Spikengine" which was developed in-house which they re-worked to not only improve the game, but to assist in a much better and wider release on multiple gaming platforms.

The new engine also allows Milestone to accurately model lighting, particle effects and other real-world characteristics to create an in-game virtual reality, offering complete immersion in the WRC universe. As well as all this, the game has improved crowd effects, rebuilt stages and new cinematic introductions to each stage. WRC 3 features more than 50 official WRC teams, alongside Class 2 and Class 3 series. WRC 3 also offers amazing Super Special Stages.
