Review: Gainward NVIDIA GTX 660 Ti Phantom

Martin takes a look at NVIDIA's latest GPU and puts it through it's paces for this benchmark and review.

Conclusion

Overall, this card is NVIDIA’s mid-range GPU; however it’s packing quite a punch. I was unable to see any real difference between this and AMD’s flagship GPU which can only sing praise to the GTX660Ti’s performance.

The GTX660Ti Phantom was tremendously quiet and stayed rather cool throughout testing, once prices begin to stabilise and these cards drop to 200 pound and below they will offer tremendous price/performance and especially for anyone looking to consider a SLI configuration. A clocked GTX660Ti in SLI at around 400 pound would be close to GTX680 SLI performance at half the price (albeit with the lack of headroom the GTX680 SLI has) or the ability for stupidly high resolutions due to the memory width.

Definitely a card to consider if it lands within your budget.
