Snow Falling in Leeds, Bradford and West Yorkshire Causes Mayhem on the Roads

Well it should be raining at this time of year but it seems to be a little too cold as April showers are replaced by wintry downfall

We find ourselves taking a little extra care on the roads this morning as snow fall over night has resulted in congestion on the motorways and roads in the Yorkshire area. Motorists and commuters alike are facing major delays this morning as rail services are experiencing delays of around 5 to 10 minutes and there are reports of lorries on the M62 coming to a standstill due to the adverse weather conditions.

A vehicle broken down on the west bound carriageway, between junctions 25 (Brighouse) and Junction 26 (Chain Bar) have also caused unforeseen delays for commuters this morning. A number of bus services are experiencing delays in the Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield.

Several flights out of Leeds and Bradford airport have also fallen victim to delays due to the adverse weather conditions.

We urge all CCL Customers to take extreme care whilst out on the roads today - But we are still open if you brave the snow to come to our showroom.
