With Christmas fast approaching, we want to be able to guarantee what you order arrives in time for the holidays - please find below the dates you'll need to order by for guaranteed pre-Christmas delivery.
Please note that the below dates apply to mainland UK. Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland may take longer to arrive. European countries would have to order before Friday 15th December due to extended travel time between countries and couriers.
Depending on what you buy and the delivery method, dates will vary for you to get your goods before Christmas. Below are the last posting dates for DPD and Royal Mail where the item(s) are in stock for priority delivery.
- DPD Next Day - Saturday 22nd December by 14:00
- DPD Saturday - Friday 21st December by 17:00

- Royal Mail 1st Class - Thursday 20th December

How We Display Stock
To help you when it comes to knowing expected delivery times, understanding our stock display on items is a big help. We show stock in three different ways - in stock at our warehouse, in stock at our suppliers, and in stock at our suppliers with extended delivery times.
Items look like the above if they're here in our warehouse - if your order this item it would be ready for collection in an hour, or would be dispatched that same day assuming it was ordered before 3PM.
These are items that will take a day or two to reach us, at which point they would be ready for collection or dispatched. If next day delivery is used, we often get the supplier to send the item direct, saving time and allowing it to reach you sooner.
If you see the above, these items will take a few days to reach us for collection or delivery, either due to the supplier only delivering one or two times a week or their location being outside the UK.
Delivery times are displayed on the product pages for each item and show the earliest delivery date or collection date as shown in the example below:
Note that if you order a mixture of items (such as 3 in stock and 1 that takes 3 days), the timeframe will default to the longest so you would have to wait for the final item to arrive before everything is processed.
Finally, before you complete your order our system will let you choose your delivery method and will show an estimated date of delivery, so you can be fairly sure when your items will arrive.
From all of us at CCL, we hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
