Tesoro are not unlike Gamdias, they are a gaming peripheral manufacturer that likes to release interestingly designed products that both look and act the part. Today they have announced a new gaming keyboard to add to their ever increasing range of products; called the Lobera and available in two models (one Mechanical and one "Mechanical-like")  it is being labelled as the "world first Full Color Illumination Mechanical Gaming Keyboard."

As noted above the Lobera is a standard non mechanical model, with an MSRP of €79 it appears to be a standard membrane gaming keyboard which means that it is entering at a very high price point, one where entry mechanical keyboards hit the market. The Lobera supreme comes with an MSRP of €119 which is a good price and it is mechanical but rather than using the tried and tested Cherry MX switches (used in practically every other mechanical keyboard) they are using lesser known and potentially lower quality Kailh switches, which is one of the reasons the price is able to be kept as low as it is. It remains to be seen how this will affect the keyboard overall.

The Keyboard does look the part however with a nice industrial look overall, it also comes with a 2 Port USB hub on the back of the keyboard as well as audio pass through ports.

Tesoro Technology releases world first Full Color Illumination Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Lobera Supreme and Mechanical-like Lobera Gaming Keyboard.Tesoro Technology USA Inc. – leading American manufacturer of high-tech gaming products, releases today new family of keyboards targeting directly both casual and hardcore gamers.
