The first day went by in quite a rush - probably the busiest day we've yet seen at an I series.

Our first day's supply of the always popular CCL T-Shirts ran out in an unprecedented 20 minutes. Don't worry anyone who missed them though, we have another batch for today!

On our stand we're running several competitions. We're running a Surgeon Simulator 2013 competition in association with BenQ, where the best time with the least blood loss of the weekend will win a fantastic BenQ XL 2420 monitor!

We also have a giant buzz wire competition in association with Kingston, with loads of great Kingston prizes up for grabs. We had some technical difficulties with this yesterday, but with a bit of MacGyvering (and gaffer tape) this should be back in full swing today.

Finally, we also have a more simple competition that everyone has a chance at - a guess the number of sweets in the jar competition where the prize is a cracking Asus Z87 Gryphon motherboard!

There were lots of things going on all around the exhibition, with competitions and attractions. There were bands on the main stage and big screen competitions, but with everything going on around our stand we didn't get a chance to see much of it. I'm particularly interested in checking out the various retro games stands dotted around the hall, so hopefully we'll have more on these later. Asus on the stand next to us have the brand new Splinter Cell game, Blacklist, ready to play. So if you're undecided on that as yet this is a great chance to check it out.

Saturday promises to be even bigger, with day tickets completely sold out so we should be in for another good one. All I can say is Bring it on!
