Razer, a leading PC peripheral manufacturer have today released a new Naga mouse, the new mouse looks to change things around abit, which could be brilliant or terrible.
The Naga 2014 is joining the mechanical revolution, as the the 12 macro buttons on the side are now outfitted with mechanical switched which have been designed to give you audible and tactile feedback, Razer have also redesigned the thumb grid ever so slightly so that each row is now seperate, and each key is sculpted so that you can easily pick out each individual button. They have also improved the scroll wheel including the ability to click left and right as well as scroll and middle click.
The main change comes in the actual design of the mouse with it bearing a striking a resemblance to the Razer Taipan, this design Razer say "is one-size-fits-all. This form factor delivers the best feel and comfort for a wide range of hand shapes, sizes, and grip-styles". The mouse is also available in both left and right hand versions.
Included with the new Naga, is also an In-game MMO Configurator, which allows you to customise every button on the Naga, to your own settings, including changing macros and hotkeys via a non-intrusive overlay, you can also visually lay out the thumb grid with each button represented with icons.
