It seems everyone is releasing new gaming earphones, as Razer have announced a new pair of gaming headphones named "Hammerhead".
Much like the Coolermaster Pitch headphones announced yesterday, the Razer Hammerhead (available in pro and normal versions) are machined from aluminium and have an omnidirectional microphone in the cable with a one touch phonecall button.
The Hammerheads are provided with a splitter cable to allow you to connect the headset to a PC and use the microphone, three sets of earbuds to allow an optimal fitting and sealing and a carrying case.
But again we will let Razer say the most : (from the Razer facebook page)
Go with the bass in the new Razer Hammerhead Pro and Razer Hammerhead in-ear music & gaming headsets:
Machined out of aircraft-grade aluminium, the Razer Hammerhead has sonically optimized acoustic chambers that improve aural resonance while keeping the earpiece light and durable. Interchangeable ear-tips let you find the perfect fit and sound isolation for long hours of uninterrupted gaming, with the Razer Hammerhead Pro sporting an additional omni-directional microphone & in-line remote for convenient voice communication.

However comparing them price wise to the Coolermaster Pitch, you can see that Razer have gone for the premium market with the price of the non-pro version (without microphone) being £34.99 and the pro version coming in at a hefty £64.99, whereas the Coolermaster Pitch headphones are expected to be available for around £27.95.
