This is pretty big news and it presents a completely new way for the Square Enix to do things at E3, with the event just weeks away not the race is on for next-gen gaming and this is something that will not only benefit console games in terms of the digital experiences on offer, but the increase in console power will prove beneficial to games development as a whole, including the underlying quality of PC titles.
“Square Enix will be showcasing a terrific line-up of games this E3 Expo,” said Akio Oofuji, marketing director, Square Enix (Japan). “Square Enix Presents is a new way we can engage on a more meaningful and personal level with our community and fans and share with them the spectacle and excitement of E3.”
If like me you can't make the trip to E3 this is the next best thing and I'm sure there are many eager gamers out there than can't wait to see what Square Enix have been cooking, especially given their impressive Agni's Philosophy real time tech demo from earlier this year.
Viewers can expect coverage of all key titles in Square Enix’s 2013 line-up during E3 across the following channels although a full program of games and features at the event will be released over the coming weeks, you can still count on a few surprises too.
