Google has announced two brand new photo editing tools for their Google+ service, which are perfect for touching up a couple of photos on the fly. They’re especially handy if you don't notice something wrong with an image until after you've uploaded it.
The two new features are Auto Enhance and Highlights, two fairly standard features for any modern photo editing suite, but two very powerful and handy tools to have indeed and it's always better to have them and not need them, than need them and not have them.
Auto Enhance does what it says on the tin, it will work out the best way to improve your photos exposure, noise levels, red-eye, skin tones and more. Yet it's still also possible to tweak these settings yourself, as well as features such as HDR, smile and even a gif creation system.
Highlights is a little different and it will use Google+ to sort out your pictures, finding duplicates, removing blurry shots, bad exposures, as well as identifying major landmarks in your images and this is going to be a very handy tool for those uploading extensive holiday snaps, as it should help you find the best of the bunch.
The new features are available to all immediately and Google has said that you can upload 15GB of "full-sized" photos, as only Google+ will allow you to upload full resolution images for this service.
