The ADATA ED600 caddy is the best enclosure I've purchased. The unit is sturdy, offering a high level of protection and hard drive installation is extremely straight forward. I'm more than happy to recommend this product.

Slightly larger than others but NO screws so easy assembly

ADATA is a reputable brand. I've had some cheap ones in the past that weren't recognised by my pc but this one does. Just wish there was an LED but still happy.

I was upgrading my laptop from a HDD to an SSD. I needed a SATA to USB connection to allow me to clone the old drive onto the SSD. I looked at just buying a cable to do this but then came across an idea online to use an enclosure with the added benefit of being able to instal the old HDD into it to give me an external hard drive. The price difference between the cost of an enclosure and the cable is minimal. I chose this case as it looked rugged, installation looked easy and price was acceptable. I am not dissapointed. Super easy to use and installation quick and easy. I highly recommend.

Easy to switch hard drives. No screwdrivers needed at all.

I installed a Crucial MX500 drive purchased at the same time from CCL. Fitting was a matter of seconds and two foam spacers are provided to ensure a snug fit. Not exactly a thing of beauty but its rugged credentials were the reason I chose it. The USB cable is a bit short at only 30cm but that's OK for me as I have ports on the top of my PC case. Would be awkward to use in rear ports or a front mounted panel.
