You will need to use a graphics card with this processor, it does not have on-board graphics. -MR

Q: I have just bought a B450 Steel legend and I am wondering what chip I should aim for & will a 3000 series chip work or will I have to do BIOS update???

A 3rd Gen Ryzen CPU should work fine without needing a BIOS update. -MR

Built a home computer for a friend with this and a GT1030 video. I would have preferred a 3300 as it is cheaper and slightly faster but delivery times were longer than my friends patience. He is delighted with the responsiveness of the system.

I bought the ryzen 3 3100 from CCL Computers cos i have used them in the past and trust them, I paired it with a GTX1660 and 16gb(3000mhz ddr4) of ram i got no bottleneck and it runs flawlessly. d:0)

One of the best gaming/productivity CPUs out there. Outstanding value for money and longevity. Would take this over any Intel counterpart at the same price range as they simply can't provide the same performance or value for money. At the 90ish price bracket it's great but any higher and it loses its glamour.

Solid budget CPU. Decent all rounder that doesnt really flag or excel at anything. Included cooler is good enough to maintain temps under decent workload. Will struggle with high Res modern gaming, but then, what do you expect for the price?

If I could give 6 stars, I would. My lad plays flight Sims and wanted an upgrade from an i7-4770. For under a hundred quid, spectacular improvements to his frame rates now. And with AM4 not going anywhere soon, he has a cheap upgrade path. Excellent

This is a great addition to the Ryzen 3000 range of CPU's. Being at the bottom of the 3000 pile it realy does a great job of holding the rest up. When paired with a new TUF Gaming B550 Plus AM4 PCIe 3 motherboard and a Cooler Master Wraith Prism cooler, you can pretty much overclock this puppy to your hearts content. Even taking it way over the 3.6-3.8Ghz it's spec'd at and all for a hundread quid, bargain.
