Q: i want to use this in a USB 2.0 port. do i need to use a 2.0 USB cable? In the box it states there is a 3.0 USB cable, so will i have to buy another cable ? If so what one?

Q: Just a quick question i intend to use this in my car via the usb port but this is only usb 2.0, so my question is that there is no issues with backwards compatibility of the hard drive to usb 2.0? Many thanks Mike

USB 3.0 drives should have no problem on USB 2.0 ports and vice versa. They will simply be limited in speed to the USB 2.0 connection. -Danlevan
