Q: I have a Seagate Barracuda 320GB Hard disk. Will this be compatible? If not will the 'Dynamode USB - IDE/SATA Storage Converter Kit' CCL Code: CAB2133 do the job? thanks

This enclosure should be fine with any 3.5. inch IDE hard drive up to 160GB and would not need a converter. It is not suitable for SATA hard drives, so if your hard drive is SATA HDD3332 would be a better bet. -Danlevan

Q: It says this housing is for 3.5 inch hdd. How come it can be powered by usb2.0 too? It's a bit missleading. If it's meant to be 'powered by usb in case you insert 2.5 inch hdd' then it would make sense.
