I have purchased this MB bundle recently and am happy with its performance although I have recently upgraded my monitor to a 24" Full HD TV/Monitor. Although the MB sees it as a HD TV I would like to install my old GFX card, namely the Sapphire HD5450. I'd like to run HDMI to HDMI which is a better option than VGA but would like to know if this card is a better option than whats already installed on the MB. Also would I need any power connected to the GFX card ?

Having a separate GFX card are normally better than the onboard, The HD5450 will be a fine addition to this bundle and you will not need any additional power connectors as it draws power from the board, as long as your PSU is a minimum of 300 Watts. Regards, Mike

Yes you can add that graphics card to this motherboard bundle, the minimum power requirements you would need for this bundle and that card would be 400W. I would recommend something like the XFX 450 (PSU0202) power supply to compliment these components.

Would this bundle be a replacement for a 3.2Gz i5-650 Processor
Posted on Wednesday 14th November 2012 at 15:41
Looking at the specs of both CPU's, this bundle would match the performance of the older CPU and would be a good replacement. Regards Mike

WILL MY EXISTING 250W PSU BE ADEQUATE IF I DO NOT ADD A GRAPHICS CARD

Yes, 250W should be fine without a graphics card. -Danlevan

Hi, I'm looking to order this bundle with an upgrade to the Intel i3 2120. Would it be possible to get you to install an asus wireless card at the same time, and deliver as part of the package? Thanks, Chris

Hi There, Yes we could do this. We are a bit limited to the number of customisation options we can offer online, if you could contact our sales team on 01274 471 201 they would be able to sort this for you Regards Daniel

I have this board and want to install a graphics card ,will the nvidia gtx 550Tibe ok . I have a 500w psu but no 6pin connector .there are 2 looms /strings of cables from the psu ,1 with 2 sata connectors and 1 with 3 sata connectors, each has a spare connector .If Ibuy your sata powerto 6pin pci express video card cable adaptor(ccl1950) will that be ok to give me the 6pin connector for the gtx 550 Ti

This bundle will happily take a 550Ti. While you can use the SATA - PCI-E adapters, the general school of thought is that if your power supply doesn't come with any PCI-E power connectors, it shouldn't be running a card that does, so I would recommend a power supply that comes with them. -Danlevan

Hi, I know it has on board graphics but does it support both the VGA and the DVi for dual output and if so at what resolution per output Thanks
Posted on Monday 3rd September 2012 at 13:51
The onboard graphics will only support one output, either the VGA or DVI. -Danlevan

I have this motherboard in my pc and was wondering if i added a graphics card would it be able to play reasonable games e.g Just Cause 2. (2) Is the motherboard compatible with any other processor?
Posted on Saturday 1st September 2012 at 15:08
Yes, this motherboard will be compatible with i5 and i7 processors also. How well this bundle will perform with different games will depend a lot on the graphics card used, but for Just Cause 2 the processor is more than adequate. -Danlevan

Hi, 1) Does this motherboard have integrated graphics which support HD 2) Does the board support SATA 3 for a Solid State Drive? 3) Could this be fitted in a CiT S003B case? 4) Is 300w power enough for this unit? Thanks
Posted on Monday 9th July 2012 at 11:05
This bundle does indeed have integrated graphics and will be fine with HD. The motherboard has SATA 2 ports, so would not be able to run an SSD at SATA 3 speeds, though would still work. 300W will be fine. -Danlevan

What psu would i need to run this bundle and the XFX Radeon HD7770 with Double Dissipation Cooler 1GB Graphics Card with a nice case with LED's?
Posted on Thursday 31st May 2012 at 13:35
AMD recommend at least a 500W power supply, so any supply of this rating or higher with a 6-Pin PCI-Express power connection should be fine. We recommend supplies from the OCZ 500W ModXStream upwards, though lower end supplies with the wattage and connection should be fine. -Danlevan

I intend to install windows xp professional on this bundle if it is compatible or if you would recommend a suitable bundle for xp that will do. Regards Brian Logue

It is compatible however not reccomended as it will not utilise the performance of this unit at all. Windows 7 is much more compatible with this setup.

Posted on Saturday 14th April 2012 at 10:18
Unfortunately you cannot, the adapter will not allow to pass through audio DH

what psu would i need if i added a graphics card
Posted on Wednesday 7th March 2012 at 09:25
That would depend on the graphics card. The majority of the graphics cards on our site list the minimum power and requirement for PCI-E power connections. -Danlevan

will i be able to use my old wifi card in one of the pci slots
Posted on Wednesday 7th March 2012 at 09:54
The motherboard currently used in this bundle does not have a PCI port, as long as the card you want to use is a PCI-Express connection, you will be fine. -Danlevan

Any case that will take a Micro ATX size motherboard, which is the majority of the cases we stock, will fit this motherboard. -Danlevan

Hi, I was wondering about the ports on the motherboard. I currently have an IDE hard drive and DVD drive, does the MB have IDE ports or only SATA? Thanks
Posted on Thursday 19th January 2012 at 09:42
This motherboard only has SATA ports, though there are SATA to IDE converters available such as the StarTech one we have available on stock code CAB0557.
Posted on Thursday 19th January 2012 at 10:21
For the price of the adapter you could buy a new SATA DVD drive, they are only what £13?

Hi, What is the minimum wattage PSU I would need to run this bundle along with a CCL Choice NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 1GB Graphics Card? Thanks
Posted on Wednesday 18th January 2012 at 17:57
A 450W power supply would be adequate to run this bundle and the 430.
