No, unfortunately your motherboard only supports 1066MHz, 1333Mhz or 2000MHz (when overclocked). As this RAM runs at 1600MHz it is incompatible with your motherboard. -MR

Your motherboard only supports 1600MHz RAM through overclocking. Whilst this RAM would work, we would recommend you choose DDR3 RAM running at 1333MHz instead for better compatibility and reliability. -MR

Q: Hello! I recently bought this ram from you and installed it into my GA990FX-UD3 motherboard with AMD PhenomII x4 955 and I know CPU only supports ddr3-1333mhz but in CPU-z software it shows that ram is running at 800mhz and much higher CL. Do I have to change all those specs myself in BIOS? Thank you!

Q: Will these memory mods be compatible with a Rampage ii Extreme mobo? I see fromt he US Asus site that the board can support up to 24Gb, is this also true?

This memory should work as the 2,4 and 6GB versions are all listed as being compatible with this motherboard, however as this specific memory is not listed as being supported I would not be able to guarantee support. Yes that is correct, this motherboard can support a max of 24GB however you would need a 64-bit version of Windows Pro or Ultimate to utilise all the memory.

Q: Hi, I have a P55-UD3 mobo with an i5 750 overclocked to 4ghz that I bought from you guys would this memory work with this setup and would I be able to keep the overclock ?

This memory would be compatible with your motherboard. As for the overclock this is something that you will have to try as it may require you to reset the overclock.

Q: Will this be compatible with ASUS P5P43TD Pro Mobo / Q6600. Currently running 2GB 1333 G.skill and it over clocks wonderfully - need to upgrade to 8gb. Wasnt sure about the 'X'?? (mobo not listed agains this ram on gskill site, but dont figure there should be a problem

Q: I have an ASUS P8P67 LE motherboard,supplied by CCL, with two 4GB G.Skill Ripjaws-X memory modules (supplied by CCL as an 8GB bundle). Can I add a further two 4GB G.Skill Ripjaws X memory modules to the motherboard, making 16GB in all? The manufacturers product code for the memory modules is F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL. The CCL product code is RAM 1230. The CCL product code for the motherboard is MBD0201.

That motherboard has four RAM slots and supports up to 32GB memory, so should have no problems at all taking another 8GB memory. -Danlevan

Q: I recently bought the CCL Elite Hyperion Motherboard Bundle, and was looking into getting another 8gb to boost to 16gb. Will the additional 8gb work correctly or should I just add another 4gb to 12gb. Read so many different view on this situation, some people saying it needs to be a multiple of 3, others saying too much will downgrade performance to ddr2?? Is this a load of tosh ? Please advise, cheers.

I can't see any problems choosing that memory for that motherboard. And for performance, you shouldn't have any issues with such a fast unit.

The 6950 is a big card, so you would need to check that you have enough space in your case for it to fit. Aside from that, should all be fine.

Yes, this will go fine on that motherboard. The only concern would be, if you have a large CPU fan, the heatspreaders are quite high so you may have issues with the height. If you are running the stock CPU fan, this will not be a problem.

That motherboard lists that it supports 1600MHz RAM, and will take up to 8GB per slot, so this will be fine.

They should, it is worth checking if the specific motherboard supports 1600MHz RAM though, some only support 1066 and 1333MHz.
