Overview

Combining a massive six heatpipe dual radiator design with an exquisite NF-P14/NF-P12 dual fan configuration, the NH-D14 is built for ultimate quiet cooling performance. Topped off with a tube of Noctua's award-winning NT-H1 thermal compound as well as the new SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system, the NH-D14 is an elite choice for the highest demands in premium quality quiet cooling.

Six heatpipe dual radiator design
Providing more surface area, better heat-distribution and superior airflow efficiency than conventional tower style heatsinks, the NH-D14s six heatpipe dual radiator design was developed to provide ultimate quiet cooling performance in dual fan mode.

Dual NF-P14/NF-P12 fan setup
The NH-D14 sports a premium quality dual fan setup consisting of Noctua's award-winning NF-P12 (120mm) and NF-P14 (140mm) fans, both of which feature Vortex-Control Notches, SCD technology and SSO-Bearings in order to achieve a perfect balance of performance and quietness.

Asymmetrical design for high compatibility
An asymmetrical design that gives more clearance towards the RAM slots ensures good compatibility despite of the coolers size. The NF-P12 fan can be moved upwards or left off in order to further improve compatibility.

Excellent component cooling
Hanging out at the bottom of the fin-stacks, the NF-P14 fan doesn't only contribute to the NH-D14s superb CPU cooling capabilities but also provides massive airflow over surrounding motherboard components and heatsinks, thus ensuring excellent component cooling performance.

SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system
Noctua's enthusiast grade SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting provides broad socket compatibility (LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA775, AM2, AM2+ and AM3) and meets the highest demands in safety, contact pressure and ease-of-use.

NT-H1 thermal compound
Noctua's much-acclaimed NT-H1 is a well proven pro-grade TIM solution that provides minimum thermal resistance, excellent ease-of-use and outstanding reliability.

Do you have you a question about the NH-D14 Dual Radiator and Fan Quiet CPU Cooler?

Q: Will this fan fit a 1150 socket? Also, will it fit into a Thermaltake Commander MS/I Snow Edition case? The product dimensions seem to vary massively and it seems I have approx 170mm where this could fit into, but I'm not 100% sure and this is the biggest concern I have with purchasing this product.
Answer by CCL on 12th July 2013
We have this cooler listed as 160mm tall, and this should fit into that case just fine. Socket 1150 has the same bracket spacing as 1155 so this will be compatible. -Danlevan

Q: Will this fan fit in a Cooler Master 342 case on an FX-8350? My RAM has no heatsink and I have a VTX3D 7850 x-edition in my PCI-e slot.
Answer by CCL on 1st July 2013
Yes this should just fit, though as the 342 is a smaller case it will likely be a tight fit. -Danlevan

Q: Is this cooler also able to fit a 1155 socket motherboard and cpu? Will this cooler fit in a CM Storm Stryker with 2 ram slots taken up and a GTX 670 graphics card in place?
Answer by CCL on 13th October 2012
Yes, this cooler supports Socket 1156 which has exactly the same cooler fitting placements as Socket 1155. It will fit just fine in your case, although if your RAM has large heatsinks on them they may need to be removed from the sticks. -MR

Q: Will this cooler fit in a cm 690ii advanced case with 2 of the ram slots taken up using mushkin redline? and will it cool an i5 3570k oc'ed at 4.5ghz?
Answer by CCL on 20th August 2012
Yes, this should all fit fine as the Redlines will fit under a D14, and it will be fine cooling that processor. -Danlevan

Q: Is this cooler fine to use with the AMD FX-6100 AM3+ CPU
Answer by CCL on 13th April 2012
While this cooler doesn't state compatibility with AM3+ this is physically the same as AM3, and the cooler is powerful enough to cool that processor. -Danlevan

Q: will this fit on the p8z68-v with all the ram slots in use?also inside an antec 1200
Answer by CCL on 3rd April 2012
That would really depend on the RAM in use. If you're using something like the Corsair or Kingston low profile RAM you'll be fine, anything larger however you will get clearance issues. You shouldn't have any problems with an Antec 1200 case though. -Danlevan
