Great unit but slightly problematic for the uses required of it here and no readily available obvious solutions - connecting to FTP/VOIP etc. The rectifications are out there but it takes some finding.

Easy to set up and use. It manages to collect a good 4G signal even in an area in which phones struggle.

Very easy to set up. Has useful programmable features and a phone app is available to give a direct link to the router. We use 4G for home internet because cable broadband is unreliable here. Used an external aerial on the old Huawei mi-fi but this TP-Link router doesn't seem to need one. The wired ports give faster speeds than the wi-fi for nearby computers. It can also be used as a cable broadband router which switches automatically to 4G if the cable fails. CCL's delivery was quicker than promised.

Fantastic item which has helped me get the wired connection I need for stable gaming connection. Haven't lagged since.

An excellent router, genuinely plug and play. We've replaced our fairly lightly used, but horrendously expensive office broadband connection with this router (and an unlimited data SIM through Smarty/Three) and so far it has been faultless. This replaced a fixed line TP Link router, which has also performed very well. The admin portal is nice and responsive too. If you're intending to use the router in a fixed position, check the operator's coverage map before choosing a provider.

Does what it's supposed to do. No set up required but if you access the interface it has some very interesting options to personalise the functions of the net. Three weeks in and no issues so far. Using it on three network.

This is a high quality router, easy to set up and use. I just inserted my new SMARTY SIM, connected to the CCTV unit (which I will be using in a remote location with no landline) and switched on. In no time it had a good mobile connection, even though 3 network signal is not so good in my area. Tested network connection to my mobile phone and home computer, both worked perfectly with good signal strength throughout the house. Very pleased with this modem and would recommend.

This product has made a huge difference to our ability to work from home in these uncertain times. I am a teacher and am able to connect with my online learning platform to deliver lessons to my students more or less reliably. Previous to this purchase our broadband with BT was very unreliable and extremely slow. We only have copper wire cable not super fast fibre optic cable. Using this router with EE 4G SIM card on unlimited data package has made all the difference; I wish I had known about this option a long time ago.

quiet expensive but it's best choices, I think better to give bit more to have easy life Ad Connection all the time :)!

Great product but wont work with any sim card

We bought this in order to try a 4G sim system rather than paying stupendous charges for home broadband (mainly line rental for a phone we never use!!). Inserted the sim plugged in and away we went, now connected security cameras, printers etc to the router and the connection is excellent, no longer do we need the signal boosters and nothing ever drops out. Our security cameras and the printer which frequently could not be found without rebooting now work 100%. So all in all over the EE router this is a major plus. So Home Broadband connection cancelled and we now save over 20.00 per month on our internet connection so it wont be long before its paid for itself.
