A webcam is a tiny camcorder built into your computer or connected to your computer. It is able to capture video, still images, conduct conference calls and send clips to friends, family and business associates over the internet. Many even include microphones to capture audio to accompany the video. They are very easy to setup often requiring you to install a program of a disk then plug the camera in to be up and running in just a few minutes.
