Enermax has continued its period of innovation in the components market with the introduction of the first down-cooling fan.

The Enermax TD-T60 reaches its high level of performance with a thermal resistance of just 0.12 degrees C per Watt, thanks to the technical development of the Vortex Generator Flow and Vacuum Effect Flow.

This uses small spoilers on the fins of the cooler to lead the air stream closely along the heat pipes, helping to avoid the development of hot spots on the pipes.

Creating a difference in air pressure with the warmer and cooler areas, Enermax enables further cooling by allowing air to be sucked back into the heat sinks.

The ETD-T60 also benefits from the special arrangement of the six 6mm heat pipes, with two pipes leading to one side of the heat sink and four to the other, allowing heat to be dissipated more easily.

Enermax has produced two versions of the device - the popular T.B.Silence fan (ETD-T60-TB) and the LED fan T.B.Vegas Duo (ETD-T60-VD).
