Iiyama has released a new monitor which it says is ideal for photographers and web designers due to the sharp images it produces.

The Iiyama ProLite X2377HDS 23 inch LED IPS Monitor is full 1080p and generates a high definition picture.

It uses a 5,000,000:1 Advanced Contrast Ratio and brightness of 250cd per square metre, producing clear and vivid images.

The 23-inch screen provides accurate and consistent colour reproduction with 178-degree viewing angles, but its versatility is one of its main strengths.

Various inputs, including HDMI, DVI and VGA ensure compatibility with any number of workstations, desktop computers and games consoles, making it ideal for use in the home, university or corporate offices.

For those with a little more to spend, also available from Iiyama is the Iiyama Prolite E2773HDS-B1 27" Monitor, with many of the same features and a larger screen.
