The newest netbook to arrive on the shelves at CCL is the tiny, yet powerful MSI Wind U90-045UK.

This compact, fully-enabled netbook, should enable clear viewing of web pages thanks to its 1024x600 resolution and 8.9 inch wide LCD display.

To keep the screen readable in all light conditions the U90 employs a LCD backlight, which because of its power-saving function, should also reduce the netbook's power drain and extend its battery life.

Powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor and with 512MB (667MHz) of DDR2 memory and a hefty 120 GB of storage, this 1kg micro-machine should prove to be highly capable.

Despite its diminutive size, the MSI manages to include three USB ports, a four-in-one memory card reader, a built-in 0.3 megapixel camera and stereo speakers - all for just £201.58 excluding VAT, £231.82 including VAT.

By running the more familiar Windows XP software and offering excellent value for money, this pink-cased offering to the netbook market should prove popular.
