Logic 3 has released its new charging dock which allows users to view images and videos from iPods and iPhones on television.

Not only does the ProDock act as a station for recharging from mains electricity or a computer but it also functions as a conduit between the iPhone or iPod and a television or hi-fi system.

This means stored music can be played at hi-fi quality while videos or slide shows can be shown on the bigger screens offered by televisions or computer monitors.

The unit is small but weighted to provide extra stability.
In the fourth financial quarter of 2008, Apple claims to have sold over 11 million iPods and 6.89 million iPhones which contributed to a net profit of $1.14 billion (£780 million).

Apple CEO Steve Jobs admitted he was unsure of how the global financial crisis would affect the company but insisted "we're armed with the strongest product line in our history, the most talented employees and the best customers in our industry".
