Seagate has released its new external hard drive, the Free Agent Go.

The new product is compatible with the first
hard drive docking station in the world, which can be bought separately.

It has "an ultra-thin design that's as stylish as it is striking" and is the thinnest portable
hard drive on the market, according to Seagate.

The
hard drive comes with password-protect so that users can protect all of their files, while it automatically backs-up data in case of crashes or viruses.

It is possible to purchase the product with 250GB, 320GB or 500GB of
memory space and it comes in four different colours: red, blue, black and grey.

A light-weight, brushed metal finish "delivers both style and function" and means the user doesn't have to worry about scratches, the firm claimed.

Last month, the company announced that Acer was using Seagate Momentus 5400.6
hard drives in its mobile computers.
