Fujitsu has introduced a new range of HandyDrives that offer users external storage capabilities.

The smallest model of the external hard drive can hold 160GB of memory with the largest capable of storing up to 500GB.

According to the company: "The HandyDrive is a highly reliable and secure device enabling fast and easy back up of your data for archival, transportation or exchange purposes."

Fujitsu also claim that the product is ideal for work files, multimedia applications, photos and videos, among others.

The new product is shock resistant, will operate via plugs and will go through USB ports.

For those worried about the security of their information there is a bundled password lock tool application with the HandyDrives.

The product has average access time of 12ms and is compatible with the most recent Mac and Windows operating systems.

Fujitsu also make 2.5 inch small Enterprise Hard Disk Drives that offer up to 147 GB of memory space.
