Four new mono laser printers designed to work in hospitals have been revealed by Brother.

The HL-5200 series covers a range of printing solutions built to work in medical environments, but also able to operate in a normal office setting.

Included in the family are entry-level models and units that offer wireless and expanded memory features.

However, all HL-5200
printers are designed to provide high performance levels, with an increased print speed of 28 pages per minute and a print resolution of up to 1200 x 1200 dots per inch.

To support the new range,
Brother has also launched a new series of higher-yield toners, with the top model supplying 7,000 A4 pages at five per cent coverage.

Lesley Howe, customer manager at the firm, commented: "This HL-5200 series offers fast business-quality printing for secondary care."

She also said that the strengths of the series' predecessor - the HL-5100 - have been built on in the new range.

Brother also manufactures the DCP-770CW Inkjet Multifunction Printer, the 2920 Laser Fax Machine and the PT1260VP Labelling Machine, all available from CCL.
