Brother Industries turns a hundred years old in 2008 and to celebrate the electronics company is laying on a host of activities.

For its 100th anniversary, Brother has stated its wish to reward stakeholders with a series of events which will include tree planting, the extension of its Brother Communication Space and the opening of an exhibition.

The Eco Point Programme is to be launched which will see the company's employees and their family members earn points for environmental activities that can then be redeemed in the form of a tree donation.

Brother will also be holding its environmental products exhibition Eco Products 2007 this December.

Other activities include the sponsoring of young entrepreneurs where the electronics firm will set up support programmes to help budding young business people in the Tokai area of Japan.

The expansion of the group's showroom has been announced, as well as the launch of a special 100th anniversary logo as well.

Brother manufacturers a variety of
printers including the HL-4070CDW - a laser printer and the MFC-845CW - an inkjet printer.
