Music festivals are amazing, there is no denying that (unless it rains that is). Sitting in a field with your best mates drinking and generally having a good time enjoying your music of choice.
In the Arena's though you have to battle through crowds of people to get to the front of the queue to get a drink. Not at the Oppikoppi festival in South Africa however, here revellers can place an order via their smartphone and a flying drone will then parachute the beer to you.
The app registers your GPS co-ordinates, from your phones GPS chip and then sends the drone to drop the beer off to you from above with a little beer parachute attached.
The drone even has a nickname, "Manna" named so after the Old Testament story of bread that fell from the sky to feed the Israelites travelling through the desert after the exodus from Egypt, quite apt as beer is the bread of festival goers.
